COMUNIDADES PARTICIPANTES EN MIPEZ

El proyecto MiPEZ se enriquece con la participación activa de diversas comunidades indígenas de la región amazónica, cada una con su propia historia, cultura y tradición. Estas comunidades están unidas en su compromiso por la pesca sostenible y la conservación de los recursos acuáticos que son vitales para su subsistencia. A continuación, presentamos una visión general de las comunidades involucradas en el proceso MiPEZ.

Coropava

El resguardo de Aguas Negras, situado a lo largo del río Caquetá, alberga a 116 personas agrupadas en 23 familias. La pesca, la caza y la agricultura en chagras son esenciales para su subsistencia. La pesca está integrada en sus prácticas culturales y es fundamental para el equilibrio ecológico del territorio. Los acuerdos internos prohíben el uso de veneno y limitan la pesca al consumo familiar, reflejando un compromiso con la protección y conservación de los recursos acuáticos para las generaciones futuras.
